The next stage of the process involves BASIX Consulting Services rating your building plans for thermal performance using the CSIRO developed NatHERS software. Once the development achieves a pass for thermal comfort, BASIX Consulting Services completes the requirements of the remaining environmental indices of the BASIX Assessment Tool, and obtains a BASIX Certificate for the development.

Prior to submission of the DA documents, BASIX Consulting Services recommends the final checking of all plans and specifications to ensure the relevant technical information is clearly presented. This additional service streamlines the BASIX component of the Council assessment process.
